the people who live in the main house control the heating system. they are apparently so old that they don't have the physical stamina to walk over to the thermostat and turn on the heat.

either that, or they are so old that they have lost all physical sensation in their skin, and therefore don't know that it is 70 below zero in the house right now.

i am wrapped in a burnt orange, olive and goldenrod afghan.

everyone seems to be following that person's advice.

tomorrow is mike's birthday. i haven't gotten him anything, cuz i don't know what to get him.
